How To Find A Model Number
Your appliance's model number is found on its serial tag. The location of this tag varies depending on the appliance's brand and type. The serial tag provides both the model and serial numbers. You must locate this tag on your appliance. The following list will guide you to the serial tag's location.
Front Load Washer
- Behind the door on washer frame.
Top Load Washer
- Under the lid toward the back of washer frame.
- Bottom front left corner of cabinet or on the sides.
- On the back of the washer console, use a mirror to see.
Dryer
- Behind the door on the dryer frame.
Free Standing Range
- On the oven frame behind the oven door.
- On the oven frame behind the pull out drawer.
Slide-In Range
- On the oven frame behind the door.
- Bottom right side of cabinet.
- On the oven frame behind the pull out drawer.
Built-In Wall Oven
- On the frame behind the oven door.
- Some models have the tag on the oven casing which is not accessible without removing the oven from the wall.
Cook-Top
- Underneath on the metal cabinet or on the sides of cabinet.
Refrigerator Or Freezer
- Inside the refrigerator section on the inner walls.
- Behind the kick toe panel at bottom of refrigerator.
- Chest freezers have them on the cabinet on the front bottom or sides.
Microwave
- Inside microwave on left side wall
- On the outside casing either bottom side.
- For built in over the range units, underneath bottom towards back of unit.
Dishwasher
- Behind dishwasher door on left front inside edge, right front inside edge or right side edge of door.
